You got that whole abstract art thing going on.
A friend of mine has a similar art style.
Her's is a little more dynamic, but like yours,
she can tell a story with a picture.
If only she were on this website...

i bet i'd probably get along with her very well....
I never noticed the abstract style in mine but now I can see it. I just sketch whatever mood I'm in.

Exactly! Sometimes the best stuff
comes out when you draw without
intention. ^_^

I agree wholeheartedly. My best pencil sketches happen at seven thirty in the morning when I draw a curvy line in my notebook.

Le gasp!

May you find paper with speed, Bamzakka.

Have you considered revising some of your art to colour? Colouring abstract art can really bring out the personality of the artist.

I should go up some kind of store and get some colors... I don't know what to get though the oil pastels, I wonder what things would look like in paint, IDK

Pick colours based on your personality, current feelings, anything~
The beauty of abstract art is that, since it reflects whatever the artist wants, it can be of any colour combination you want.

good advice, but Wal- MArt is NOT going to get me anywhere. I'm not sure where the nearest ART store is unless the Mall but I haven't been there in forever but any place in the mall is WAY too expensive

Hmm, it looks to me like a brave first step into realism. *wink*

I'll suggest a few things for the future~

>Work on making noses more curved, larger, and lower. Drawing them slightly to the side helps with this.

>Make your lips a little bit fuller unless thin lips are a part of the character, and extend the mouth a small bti to either side of them by adding faint lines.

>The eyes should be just a little smaller, and that the entire eye shape isn't all eye itself. cut off the edges to create a circle/oval within the shape and draw your iris and whatnot inside that.

>Finally, when drawing your new and improved eyes, draw faint lines down their inner edges and down into the nose. This makes the face flow much better and created more of a natural, human effect.

I like the abstract sort of art, possibly adding some word to show emotion or feeling would be a thing to try.
